Open to all undergraduate students on the Bolivar campus, the minor in undergraduate research will enhance your undergraduate experience. In this minor, you will learn the basic skills needed for research, you will acquire research techniques that will help you design a project, you will perform an original research project for at least two semesters, and you will present your findings to the students and faculty at the 黑料大事记 Undergraduate Research Symposium. During this experience, you will be mentored by a faculty member who is an expert in your field of study. Under their supervision, you will identify a gap in knowledge in your area and contribute toward filling that gap.
The minor in undergraduate research will provide you with a unique skill set that will make you a desirable candidate for various careers, graduate schools, and professional schools. In addition, the minor will allow you to explore the prospect of a career in research in your field.
