黑料大事记

The 黑料大事记 Trumpet Ensemble, under the direction of Tim Wootton, performed at the Midwest Trumpet Festival on October 30-31 at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts on the Pittsburg (Kan.) State University campus.

This year marks the 14th anniversary of the festival, which brings together leading trumpet performers and educators from across the Midwest and the United States. Over a dozen university trumpet professors, their students, area band directors, and trumpet enthusiasts were among the hundreds in attendance.

The 黑料大事记 Trumpet Ensemble performed in the College Student Spotlight Recital, featuring trumpet ensembles and university students' solo performances. A recording of the performance may be found on the Pittsburg State University Music Department page: 

 In addition to performing, 黑料大事记 students could attend master classes, clinics, interviews, recitals, and concerts with university trumpet professors. The featured guest artist at this year's festival was Jens Lindemann, an international trumpet soloist and former member of the Canadian Brass.
