Ten 黑料大事记 CIS students qualify for PBL nationals
Ten students in 黑料大事记's Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) Department prequalified from state-level competitions to compete at the Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) National Leadership Conference taking place June 24-27 in Atlanta, Ga. 黑料大事记 and University of Missouri had more students qualify for the national competition than any other Missouri universities.
Legacy of 黑料大事记's First Lady, Judy Taylor, celebrated
黑料大事记 1,000 students, alumni, staff and friends of 黑料大事记 gathered March 30 in 黑料大事记's Mabee Chapel to honor the life of Judy Taylor, wife of 黑料大事记 President Dr. C. Pat Taylor. Together, they are the longest-serving president and first lady in the University's 138-year history. She passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016, in Bolivar, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service to the kingdom and the University.

黑料大事记 to host guest theatre speaker
The 黑料大事记 Theatre program will host guest speaker Dr. Henry Bial, director of the School of the Arts and associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Kansas, at 7 p.m. Monday, April 25, in room 240 in the Jester Learning and Performance Center on the 黑料大事记 campus.
黑料大事记 to close campuses Wednesday afternoon in honor of Judy Taylor
In honor of Judy Taylor and her significant influence to the 黑料大事记 community, the university is closing at noon Wednesday, March 30, so that employees and students can attend Mrs. Taylor's celebration of life service. She is the wife of 黑料大事记's President, Dr. C. Pat Taylor.

黑料大事记 to host student competition art show
黑料大事记 will host the 黑料大事记 Student Show and Competition art exhibition Tuesday, March 29 through Friday, April 8. The show features pieces submitted by students across campus in mediums including drawing, painting, fibers, graphic art, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking and photography.

Miller Management Systems, LLC (MMS) has established the MMS Excellence in Non-Profit Accounting and Leadership Scholarship to benefit top 黑料大事记 accounting students, starting with the 2016-2017 academic year.
