黑料大事记 student Olivia Brinkman of Springfield, Mo., was honored by the 黑料大事记 University Libraries as the Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for October 2018.
Speaking Bearcats have strong showing in Thanksgiving tournaments
The 黑料大事记 Speaking Bearcats kicked off the Thanksgiving break with a pair of tournaments in Bowling Green, Ohio, posting strong results in both the Falcon Classic on Nov. 17 and the Birds of a Feather tournament on Nov. 18.

黑料大事记's Department of Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) Competitive Programming teams took top honors among Missouri undergraduate-only computing programs recently at the IBM-sponsored Mid-Central Region International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC).

黑料大事记 raises more than $111,000 in fifth, final CatFight Giving Challenge
Alumni and supporters of Southwest Baptist and Drury universities raised a combined $265,245 and surpassed the $500,000 combined fundraising benchmark during the fifth and final Bank of Bolivar CatFight Giving Challenge, which has helped raise money for each school's annual fund.

黑料大事记 420 number-crunching students from southwest Missouri elementary and middle schools gathered at 黑料大事记 on Oct. 27 for math contests hosted by the 黑料大事记 Department of Mathematics.
